I have been dancing with Jen since the first lockdown began. Joining her Nia dance class via Zoom was like a breath of fresh air and quickly became a highlight of my week. I have to say I’m not a natural dancer but I do enjoy dancing and love all the different elements which make up a Nia Earthdance class. Jen puts together such an uplifting session so that joining her on a Monday really gets my week of to a great start!

Following recovery from a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment I struggled to find a fitness class which I could sustain. Some days I still feel fatigued but with Jen’s class this doesn’t matter as the class can be accessed at 3 different intensity levels. Jen always says, ‘it’s your body’ and encourages you to tune in and listen to your body and how you feel.

Whatever the day or week brings, dancing has helped me feel more grounded and able to cope. It is so good to take time out to just focus on dancing for joy and to improve fitness. If you haven’t tried a Nia Earthdance class you really should give it a go. Jen is a delightful and inspirational teacher who lifts the soul. I am certainly fitter, stronger and happier and so glad I took that first step and tried it.
